About

I am in the process of solidifying my philosophical interests.—what graduate student isn't? As it stands, I have the following projects in mind:

Recent trends in consumer technology and art have made the topic of "interaction" even more relevant as it has been in the past. With 2011 being declared by market analysts as the "year of the touchscreen," the underlying aesthetic principles that drive computer interface design are being rethought and revised. I would like to know more about the relationship between human beings and machines from the perspective of aesthetic theories, particularly those of Dewey and Goodman.
